WALKING AROUND : if you are lucky to wake up on Sunday morning in Madrid with a sunny day you could go to “Parco del Buen Retiro” right in Madrid! You can find lots of percussionist from around the world that singing and playing on the streets..you also can find jugglers and acrobats.
If you are with your partner and you wanna have nice romantic time you could rent a little boat and going to the picturesque artificial lake..
P.S. In my opinion one of the most beautiful things in Madrid is going to visit Palacio de Cristal a charming nineteenth-century iron and glass greenhouse.

SHOPPING Madrid offers lots of opportunities, I always love start my shopping from Puerta del Sol and continue on Gran Via (on that street there is an interesting wifi connection). When you arrive at Calle de Fuencarral you can find amazing shops such as: “El Ganso” (for men) and YKN (Augusto Figueroa, 1-Esquina Fuencarral). About YKN I will talk very soon in the fashion sector.
On the street you can find lot of shops with Spanish brands as Custo or Torero (very cheap), some of the shops here are very trend with unpublished brands. So it’s very nice walking on that street and looking the outfit of young guys “fashion victims”.
During the sales I recommend to all fashion addicted to go to Calle Serrano and Calle Josè Ortega y Gasset, long of these streets you can find all famous brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Agatha ruiz de la prada..and so on!

Enriched the mind looking around the city, you need to have a pit stop based on the Montaditos (small sandwiches, a kind of mini-baguette, prepared with finest ingredients varied: such as chorizo or also with tortilla de patatas).

Necessary pit stop is going to visit the San Miguel market really close to Plaza Mayor. That’s a cover market, with an iron covering that dates back to the turn of the century. Always full of people, with inside some small tables where you can eat what you’ve bought at one of the stalls selling local specialties (good and of excellent quality food). That’ s recommended for breakfast, happy hour, or also for dinner (on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is closing at 02.00).
